Where can the light sit?
Before comparing output, identify a safe position for the lamp. A base, hook or magnetic attachment may help, but each must be confirmed on the specific model. Test stability on the actual surface; a magnetic feature is not useful on every material.

Look for shadows and glare
Position the sample as it would be used and move your hands through the work area. Check whether tools block the beam and whether shiny surfaces reflect light into your eyes. A wider illuminated area may be more useful than a very bright central spot.
Check access and charging
The switch should remain reachable after placement. Confirm the cable, charging input and instructions, and avoid placing equipment near moving or hot components. Do not infer chemical resistance or hazardous-area approval from a workshop scene.

For a workshop supply order
Document the mounting method, accessories and inspection task in the quotation request. Ask for replacement-part availability and agreed support terms. Evaluate the lamp in a representative task before expanding the order.
