Ask what the minimum applies to
An MOQ may apply to the complete order, a model, a colour or a customized package. Ask the supplier to identify each minimum separately. Do not assume several colours count as one production batch.

Separate standard and custom options
An existing configuration and a newly printed box may have different requirements. Request alternatives such as standard packaging for a trial order, if available. Compare the full order cost and presentation rather than treating the lowest quantity as the only goal.
Build a focused trial assortment
Select models that serve distinct tasks and define a quantity for each. Avoid adding many similar variants before understanding demand. Ask whether accessories and packaging can remain consistent across the selected models without changing their specifications.

Plan for replenishment
Record the agreed model identifiers, packaging version and reorder conditions. Confirm whether a later order can repeat the same configuration and how changes will be communicated. No universal MOQ applies to every lighting project; obtain a quotation for your actual mix.
