Begin with the storage space
Measure the pocket, pouch or equipment compartment the product must fit. Compare the actual length and widest part of the lamp, not only the dimensions of the retail box. Include any clip, strap or protruding switch in the sample assessment.

Test grip and control access
Hold the sample as it will be used. Can the thumb reach the switch naturally? Is there enough grip with the intended gloves? Rotate the light and check whether an accidental button press is likely during transport.
Assess the whole configuration
A larger body may suit one customer and be inconvenient for another. Compare weight with the agreed battery and accessories. If interchangeable battery configurations are offered, ask the supplier to identify the exact configuration on the quotation.

Show scale honestly in a listing
Use a clean product image and a dimension drawing, then add a realistic handling photograph. Avoid enlarging the product relative to a hand for dramatic effect. Clear scale helps customers understand the format before requesting a sample.
Explore relevant products
Compare the available models and confirm specifications for the exact configuration.
