Capacity is not a runtime promise
A battery capacity figure does not by itself tell you how long a complete lamp will provide useful light. The selected mode and the product’s operating behaviour matter. Compare the same configuration and request the conditions behind any stated runtime.

Define the useful task
Decide what the lamp must illuminate and for how long. A low setting that remains on may not satisfy a task requiring brighter illumination. Ask how the supplier defines the end of the runtime test and whether output changes during operation.
Create a repeatable sample record
Charge according to the instructions, select the agreed mode and record the start time, observations and end condition. Keep conditions consistent between samples. This practical check supports selection but should not be presented as an accredited laboratory test.

Put the result into the order
Record battery configuration, mode and the agreed acceptance method in the specification. Keep the approved sample as a reference. Avoid mixing the longest runtime from one mode with maximum output from another in the same headline.
